A little about me…

Hello! Thanks for visiting The Five Loaves Baker! This little bakery began in early 2020 when I set out to make bread my gluten-intolerant dad could actually enjoy. That search led me to sourdough, and it completely changed the way we bake and eat: simple, wholesome, and much gentler on the gut than store-bought loaves.

With a growing desire to share these delicious treats with others, I opened the bakery and began selling my baked goodies at The Blu Rooster Farm Shed in Gig Harbor. I’m so grateful for the wonderful support from our community and love getting to share sourdough and other time-honored, heritage recipes with the neighborhood!
